The principal function of the Communications Committee is to inform and educate the Consolata Shrine Community about issues related to their faith and events in the parish.

The Consoling Eye

The main communication tool used by the Committee is the “Consoling Eye”, a monthly news-bulletin which has contributions from the parish priests, religious people, parish committees/groups and the laity. These includes outlines of the parish by the pastoral team, feasts and memorials, biblical reflections, events of the parish, celebrations of the parish sacraments (weddings, baptisms, first holy communion, confirmations, requiem, masses) and liturgical calendar.

Live stream services

The team manages the live streaming services for the Consolata Shrine, which is the broadcast arm of the Shrine. Live masses are broadcasted via YouTube and Facebook every Sunday and during special events like the Feast of Our Lady Consolata, during funerals or any other special occasion.
