1. Today, we will have the blessing of your tithe and family. Kindly pick an envelope at the entrance of the Church.
– Children’s Mass will be at 9:00 a.m. There will be no Sunday school.
– The Rosary will be prayed in front of the Blessed Sacrament after the 1.00 p.m Mass.
2. Tuesday, 8th September is the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. There will be Rosary and Candle lit procession after the 5.30pm Mass animated by the Altar Servers. Celebrations will be held on Saturday 12th September at 2.00pm. All are welcome to join us in prayer and thanksgiving as we conclude the Novena in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
3. Couples preparing for marriage between November 2026 and February 2027 are invited to register for pre–marital sessions at the Catechist’s office during the week.
4. The Christian Education Committee invites you to an interactive session on the Church doctrines (topic: A wounded Marriage and Response to abuse, separation or divorce: Pathway to discern whether a valid marriage was established), today at 9.30 am, in the Auditorium, Allamano
Centre. All are welcome
5. In the month of September, Consolata Shrine joins Christians around the world in observing the season of creation, running from 1st September which is the World Day of Prayer for creation to 4th October, the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi. We invite parishioners to commemorate this season themed: ‘living waters’ drawn from Ezekiel 46:9,12 by taking action towards
creation to care for water, land and biodiversity.
6. St. Gonzaga Gonza SCC invites all Parishioners, families and friends to a Zumba Fitness & Nutrition awareness event on Saturday 26th September 2026
from 10.00am onwards at Allamano Centre. For more information, kindly see the posters on the notice board. Please scan the QR code to register or visit the desk in the blue tent outside the Church.
7. Next Sunday 13th September, we shall have the honor of welcoming Bishop Peter Makau, Bishop of Isiolo to our Parish. Bishop Makau will celebrate the 9.00am and 11.00 am Masses. After the Masses, Bishop Makau will make an appeal in support of various pastoral and charitable activities in the Diocese of Isiolo. We encourage everyone to support the appeal as we contribute towards the growth and mission of the Diocese of Isiolo.
8. The construction of New Gate and Gatehouse Project has officially commenced. This project is intended to enhance the safety and security of our Parish community. During this construction period, the church main gate will remain temporarily closed. We kindly request you to use the following alternative entrances for both pedestrian and vehicles:
• The Consolata School gate on Chiromo road • The Allamano gate via the Ring road.
