1. Next Sunday 4th October we will have the blessing of your tithe
and family. Kindly pick an envelope at the entrance of the
Church.
– Children’s Mass will be at 9:00 a.m. There will be no
Sunday school.
– The Rosary will be prayed in front of the Blessed
Sacrament after 1 p.m. Mass
2. St. Julia of Corsica SCC will animate the Rosary on Saturday 3rd
October, after the 5.00pm mass. All are welcome
3. The month of October is the month of the Rosary. It is a time of
prayer for the intentions and mission of the Church throughout
the world. We also invite you to intensify the Rosary prayer
asking God to bless our families. Parishioners who wish to have
the Icon of Our Lady Consolata and Mass in their homes are
kindly invited to register at the Parish office during the week.
4. Couples preparing for marriage between November 2026 and
February 2027 are invited to register for pre–marital sessions
at the Catechist’s office during the week.
5. The Christian Education Committtee invites you to an interactive
session on the Church doctrines on Sunday 4th October, at
9.30am, at the Auditorium in the Allamano Centre. All are
welcome
6. Youth Serving Christ group invites all youth aged 18-25 years for
Bible study every Friday, from 6.00pm to 7.00pm at the old
Parish hall.
7. The Consolata Parish Choirs are registering new members.
Parishioners who wish to join are invited to register at the desk
in the blue tent outside the church.
8. The construction of New Gate and Gatehouse Project is on –
going. This project is intended to enhance the safety and
security of our Parish community. We humbly appeal for your
generous financial support towards our project. To pledge or

9. All Parish groups are requested to submit their 2027 calendar
of events to the Parish Secretary via WhatsApp (telephone
number 0723 678125) by latest 31st October 2026.
10. The Subukia National Prayer Day is scheduled to take place on
Saturday 3rd October at the Subukia National Shrine. The theme
for this year is “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they
shall be called children of God”. Parishioners are
encouraged to attend this special day of prayer, seeking God’s
blessings, and interceding for the Church, our nation and our
families.
11. Parishioners are invited to the Kabete Deanery Family day on
Saturday 17th October here at Consolata Shrine. The Main
Celebrant will be Rt. Rev Jackson Murugara, Bishop of the
Diocese of Meru. All are welcome
12. In the month of September, Consolata Shrine joins Christians
around the world in observing the season of creation, running
from 1st September which is the World Day of Prayer for
creation to 4th October, the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi. We
invite parishioners to commemorate this season themed:
‘living waters’ drawn from Ezekiel 46:9,12 by taking action
towards creation to care for water, land and biodiversity.
