1. Today is the Feast of the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph. There will be blessing of families in all masses. We will also have a second collection.
2. New year’s eve masses are as follows;
❖ 31/12/2025-7am,1:15pm and youth thanksgiving
mass at 5:30pm. Confessions will be at 9am to 12pm
and 2:30pm to 5:30pm.
❖ St. Joseph deepsea -6pm
❖ Nativity movie-7:30pm to 9pm
❖ Adoration -9pm to 10:15pm
❖ Holy mass, 10:30pm 12pm
❖ Thursday 1/1/2026 -7am,9am,11am and 5pm
3. There will be a petition box placed at the Altar area next to the Ambo of the readings and next to the Ambo of the announcements only on 31st December 2025 and 1st January 2026 . You are invited to bring along your written petitions /resolutions for the new year and any prayer petitions and deposit them in the box. The petitions will be prayed for in the masses.
4. Next Sunday 4/12/2026, is the first Sunday of the month. We will have blessing of our tithe and our families. We will also have second collection for Holy Childhood. Please pick an envelope
at the entrances of the Church.
5. This Christmas, we invite you to consider giving a special Christmas gift to our Parish. Your generosity will help us enhance our Parish facilities, creating a better space for
worship. Kindly pick a Christmas envelope at the entrances of the Church or send your gift to the Consolata Shrine paybill 508702, account: Christmas Gift.
6. Registration for Catechesis for children preparing to receive First Holy Communion (Ages 9 years and above) and confirmation (Ages 11 years and above) is ongoing at the Catechist’s office. Adults preparing for Baptism, First Holy Communion and confirmation are invited to register. Deadline
for registration is 23rd January 2026.
7. Couples preparing for marriage in the year 2026 are invited to register for Premarital sessions at the Catechist’s office.
8. The Catholic Men Association (CMA) is recruiting new members. All interested men are invited to register by scanning the QR code on the flyer or posters on the notice board or visit the Parish office during the week.
9. The sisters of the Holy Angels will animate the Rosary on Saturday 3rd January after the 5.00pm mass. All are welcome
10. On Epiphany Sunday 4th January 2026, there will be a special children’s Mass and PMC commissioning at 3.0opm to celebrate the Society of the Holy Childhood (PMC). All children
are encouraged to attend in traditional dress.
11. The parish offices will be closed on Tuesday 30/12/2025 for new year festivities and will reopen on Monday 5/1/2025.
