1. Starting today to 25th January 2026, we begin the week of Christian unity. There will be special prayers during all masses.
2. St. Mary Magdalene SCC will animate the rosary on Saturday 24th January, after the 5.00pm mass. All are welcome.
3. Next Sunday 25th January is the ‘The Word of the Lord Sunday’. Bibles will be blessed during all Masses. Kindly bring your Bibles.
4. The Consolata Charismatic group will be conducting a ‘Life in the Spirit’ for nine consecutive Sundays, starting today. The seminar will be held at the Parish hall at 2.00pm. For more information, kindly contact Grace on 0722609518.
5. Registration for Catechesis for children preparing to receive First Holy Communion (Ages 9 years and above) and confirmation (Ages 11 years and above) is ongoing at the Catechist’s office. Adults preparing for Baptism, First Holy Communion and confirmation are invited to register. Deadline for registration is 23rd January 2026.
6. Couples preparing for marriage in the year 2026 are invited to register for Pre-marital sessions at the Catechist’s office.
7. The Divine Mercy ongoing formation class will be held today at 2.00pm in room 3F at the Allamano Centre. All are welcome
8. Youth Serving Christ invites all youth aged 19 to 26 years for an evening of fun and interactive games on Friday 23rd January, from 5.00pm to 7.00pm in the Auditorium at the Allamano Centre. All youth who have completed high school are encouraged to attend.
9. Youth Serving Christ of St. Joseph Deepsea will be holding an Act of Charity on Sunday 15th February 2026. Parishioners from Consolata Shrine and St. Joseph Deepsea are invited to support needy Parishioners from Deepsea by donating dry foods and other essentials. Donations may be dropped off at the Catechist’s office in Deepsea or at Consolata Shrine.
10. All Consolata Shrine and Deepsea Small Christian Communities (Jumuiyas) are recruiting new members. To join, Parishioners are invited to scan the QR code on the banners around the Church or visit the desk in the blue tent outside the Church for more information.
11. The Catholic Men Association (CMA) is recruiting new members. All interested men are invited to register by scanning the QR code on the flyer or poster on the notice board or visit the Parish Office during the week.
12. The Children’s Sunday Service will resume on Sunday 15th February 2026.
