The Consolata Shrine Raffle is a fundraising platform set up by Consolata Shrine to raise funds for the construction of the Allamano Centre; a project that will help the community for generations to come.

The Raffle allows individuals to make a donation to the project and get a chance to win amazing prizes. The more you donate, the more chances you have to win a prize.

The Allamano Centre

This project is called the Allamano Centre after the Founding father of the Consolata Missionaries, Blessed Joseph Allamano.

The Allamano Center is a solution to challenges faced by the community around Consolata Shrine and Consolata School

The centre will offer expansive multifunctional spaces that will serve the community across many generations, these include:

  • Parking silo
  • Modern administration offices
  • Modern multipurpose hall/theatre to accommodate 250 persons
  • Cafeteria
  • Sunday school for 100 children
  • Meeting rooms/offices for church use or rental purposes
  • Residential facilities for church guests
  • Modern workers ’quarters
  • Improved accommodation for the Consolata Sisters

Upon its completion, the community’s spatial needs will be sufficiently catered for allowing room for better service to the community for generations to come.

  • 1) Isn’t it against our religion to gamble?

    The raffle is based on a charitable activity to support a project that is going to benefit a community. In order to motivate people to participate, we have organised some prizes rather than just asking for donations. This raffle is not about earning money and making a profit, it is about building something for the community.
    This kind of activity happens all around the world and there are many activities which take place that have prizes as incentives. If you are happy to support the Allamano Centre project without an incentive, you are most welcome to give us a pledge. We would be grateful either way.

  • 2) Why are we doing a raffle?

    It was seen an exciting way to support a project that is building facilities to serve the community better. Rather than just ask the community for donations to raise money, a raffle has incentives which gives individuals the chance to win.

  • 3) Where are the proceeds going?

    The church has been functioning here since the 1950s and growing little by little. The community has grown significantly. We have a number of areas that need renovations, so rather than spending on repairs we would like to have more valuable rooms for pastoral activities, offices, halls and parking which is currently proving to be a real problem.

    To donate, dial *369*2#, follow the Consolata raffle instructions and stand a chance to win. There is an automated, audited system that picks random winners every Monday. The more you donate, the more chances you have of winning with phones, fuel vouchers, generators, and cars.

    Wiko Jerry smartphones, fuel vouchers worth 2000/ksh, Aksa generators, and Kwid cars to be won every month over three months.

  • 7) Can I pay using cash?

    Currently the only method to enter the raffle is electronically via phone however we may introduce the option of using cash for the next round.

    • Terms and conditions

    • The validity of a ticket lasts one month; this means that the same ticket can be used in four weekly draws and the monthly draw
    • We do not start again with new tickets each week but with new tickets each month
    • If your ticket wins then it can be donated again
    • If you have tickets in, they will remain in for the month
    • Each week the system will select a ticket number against each prize
    • The winners will receive an SMS the moment they are chosen, and will get a phone call from the Consolata Shrine Raffle team. Arrangements for the handover will be made
    • You can buy as many tickets as you like every month
